Waste to energy

One of the Indonesian government priority is energy specifically, the renewable energy in which the President Joko widodo is committed to allocate 1 trillion IDR in 2015. As a tropical country with the average of 2975 hours of sunlight per year (of a possible 4383), naturally Indonesia has started with solar energy. But Indonesia is also the notorious second largest waste contributor in the world with 187,2 million ton per year after China with 262,9 ton per year. Therefore, the Indonesian government is trying to change a bane to a boon by transforming a waste to a renewable energy. This challenge was started by the 7 pilot projects in big cities of Indonesia and intended to be generalized to all around the country.
